GC45 WF43: COM07 Living into Right Relations - All Relations Need To Be Rooted in Truth, Respect, Transparency, and Built on Trust for Summer 2025

Groups understood the desire in this proposal, and support enabling the National Indigenous Council to discern its path forward, but not unanimity in this proposal as the best path forward. 

In discerning how to respond to this proposal, groups sought to recognize the autonomy and self-determination of the National Indigenous Council, in alignment with the commitments in Remit 1: Establishing an Autonomous National Indigenous Organization. 

While supportive, groups wanted more information about the financial implications of this proposal. 

Recognizing that there is a National Indigenous Elders Council planned for September, this gathering may be able to provide direction.
