GC45 WF45: COM09 A Call for Strengthening Camping Ministries as Central to Faith Formation within The United Church of Canada, and to Explore How This Vital Work is Structured and Resourced for Summer 2025

Discussion groups support the value of camping ministry. There were many questions about the different practices across Regional Councils and concerns about the specific actions proposed. 

Therefore, the Way Forward Team proposes: 

That the 45th General Council, 2025, refer COM09 A Call for Strengthening Camping Ministries as Central to Faith Formation within The United Church of Canada, and to Explore How This Vital Work is Structured and Resourced to the General Secretary to be considered as part of the strategic plan’s priorities around growth and leadership.
