GC45 WF03 HF04 Vocational Review and Discipline Accountability Policy for Summer 2025

All but one discussion group were opposed to this proposal.

Discussion groups noted that this proposal appears to respond to a specific incident but do not reflect a systemic challenge in the processes of the Office of Vocation.

The Board of Vocation is already accountable to the General Council Executive. Staff of the Office of Vocation are accountable through already existing General Council human resources processes.

Discussion groups note that there is already a review underway of the Office of Vocation and its functioning through the structural change review steering group.

Therefore, the Way Forward Team proposes:

That, in response to HF04 Vocational Review and Discipline Accountability Policy, the 45th General Council, 2025 take no further action on HF04 Vocational Review and Discipline Accountability Policy for Summer 2025
