GC34 Middle East Peace Process (1992M321)

The 34th General Council requests the Division of Mission in Canada and the Division of World Outreach

  1. to gather existing resources and up-to-date information on the UCC’s position on the Middle East; and

  2. to encourage UCC people and courts to support the peace process in the Middle East, using existing channels of mission education and communication.

Resolution of the NEW05 Indigenous Sovereignty Proposal

On Nov. 8, members of the Executive of the General Council had a special meeting to discuss recommendations about NEW05 Indigenous Sovereignty Proposal. They affirmed the recall of the National Indigenous Spiritual Gathering (NISG) to determine the future of the Indigenous Church.
