Reports

Reports are received for General Council business from the Moderator, the General Secretary, and various committees and task groups that are accountable to the General Council.

Reports are received by decision-making bodies for two key reasons:

  1. Accountability
The substance of the report outlines the ways in which the source of the report has been fulfilling the mandate entrusted to them.
  2. Preparation for Decision Making
Reports are often a springboard for discussion and decision-making. They provide valuable background information that equips a council to make an informed decision.
